How To Make A *Dynamite* Start To Any Week In Your Hairdressing Salon

 

How was Saturday in your salon? Did it rock? Was it profitable? Was it miserably flat?

 

Today I am going to reveal to you a pathetically easy tip to get your salon back on top this week ... durghhhhh!

 

When I used to get to my salon on Monday or Tuesday after the previous week my brain was usually frazzled to the point I spent every week worrying about what happened last week. "I didn't believe it but Steve proved it to me that you can make any stylist in your salon very, very busy in 12 weeks or less... I'm proof of that!"

 

That always took away any spark or life in me to produce a killer week on any week. Until ...

 

I Discovered The Power of Review!

(I know that sounded real cheesy but hold on in there)

 

Simply put it worked like this. My first day back in the salon I would take at least ONE HOUR out to myself. This would be spent reviewing LAST WEEK. Looking at the highs but more important at this time looking at the lows in real depth.

 

Why?

 

Understanding the highs was always easy. I could look at them. Thank my team for them. Count the profits from them/ The lows ... that was harder.

 

But when you stare the lows right in the face ... you can grab them by the scruff and sort them out.

 

For example: How come we only sold 3 colors last week to clients? I would talk to the team. Add some simple changes. Add some bonuses to the teams week. Re-launch a new color program. The following week ... we sold 21 colors.

 

Are You Starting To See The Power Of A Weekly Review

 

Now look at the math of that example.

 

Before review: Sold 3 colors a week. Value: $150.00

After review: Sold 21 colors a week. Value $ 1,050.00

 

NOW THAT'S DYNAMITE STUFF, RIGHT?

 

3 Steps To Increasing Your Salon Business Using Reviews.

 

  1. Book an hour our of your diary every Monday or Tuesday.

  2. Review all of the previous weeks highs and lows.

  3. Make a plan of action ON PAPER and commit you and your team to making it happen. (set a reward with them and make sure you discuss the plan with them. In other words don't just say... "we are doing this, this week" or they won't do it for you)
