Example:
You sell 100 widgets/hair services for $100 each = $10,000 revenue. Your costs to make (or buy) the widgets/hair services is $65 each = $6,500 costs. Your profit is $3,500.

If you sell 10% more widgets/hair services, your revenue is $11,000, your costs are $7,150 and your profit is $3,850 -- an increase of $350 (10%).
